Hostellerie Saint Georges - Gruyeres

Rooms were quiet and the beds were very confortable

Location superb, la gruyeres is beautiful, staff were very friendly and helpful, good breakfast, quirky bedroom with lots of wood, I'd definitely stay again.

Fabulous location and a very romantic view from the restaurant balcony.

WiFi connection was not working. Had to insist to be given access to a Hotel terminal. Breakfast wasn´t very exciting for the price. The staff did not make it so inviting to take the breakfast on the balcony, but rather in the inside room.

The location. The hotel is located right on the cobblestone street. And breakfast was good. Room was clean and adequate.

The flies - we had dinner and breakfast at the hotel and flies were everywhere. Very annoying.

The hotel is in the heart of the Gruyeres town. It is small and cozy and has a restaurant with a nice view of the mountains.

The bathroom was not very clean and there was water running down from the roof in the morning (room #5). too much noise in the night and early morning since our room was very close to the main street. It was like having the bed in the middle of town. In our reservation we requested a room on the other side of the hotel but there were none available.

The hotel staff were exceptionally helpful and friendly, the views from their dining room of mountains, valley, and a portion of the walled hilltop town of Gruyere were spectacular.

Its location at the centre of the medieval village, old building, almost medieval style of the room an furniture, friendly staff, delicious breakfast and restaurant and reasonable pricing. The overall atmosphere of an old-fashioned, medieval village was excellent!

Obviously it is an old European hotel so you get what you get. It is not luxury, but is clean, not terribly small. The location and natural beuaty around the hotel, the personal service of the staff make up for any lack of facililties.

A very charming hotel with a lovely staff. The breakfast was delicious and also the coffee. Very freshly brewed, strong coffee with a great flavor!

Great location and a friendly staff. The view from the breakfast room is fantastic. All the dairy products are local Gruyeres products and that made the breakfast really special.

The stairs are steep and narrow and the ceilings are a bit low. But still, a very pleasant place to stay and very convenient.
